getting ready.
Sarah is in full-birthday mode. Well actually she's in full Halloween mode and in order to get her distracted from that we've been telling her, "yes, but first it's your birthday!". Seriously we're hearing this phrase about 87 times a day: "Mommy, Sarah ready for Halloween, Mommy." (note the "mommy" sandwich...she's been all about that lately)
So today she was playing with playdough and singing herself "Happy Birthday" so I whipped out some candles to make it a little more fun. What could be better than a faux birthday 19 days early? Um, probably a more edible cake.
Nick didn't play with it often, but when he did play with playdough it would guarantee 3 hours worth of busy-ness!
