flying pigbear.
Just messing around with Daddy last night. I often find myself having to keep from saying "don't do that", "she's gonna get hurt", "she shouldn't eat that", and blah, blah, blah when they're playing together. But then I remind myself what my mom has always said: daddies play different. And she's so right. And it's a good thing. It might make my heart race a little every now and then but I'm so thankful for the way they play together.
As a sidenote, this photo was taken right after a rousing game of "hike the baby". It's played exactly the way the name implies. Fortunately, the baby is not Pigbear - it's just a little doll. I'm slightly concerned though for the ways this game my come back to haunt us in three moths when there actually is a hikable baby in our house.

Daddies are certainly different. Wonderful, exciting, fixer-of-everything, thrilling, and cuddly. We love out daddies, don't we?

I use to play 'hike the baby' with Tyler when he was little. Until I did it in front of my mom that is...

Oh my gosh. I'm totally LOL over the hike the baby game. To funny. And I agree with you on the whole wanting to say something during "daddy play" I bite my tongue quite often as well.
